Oleksandr Usyk could rematch Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia as early as late June, according to promoter Eddie Hearn.

The Ukrainian became the first man to unify the cruiserweight titles by beating Tony Bellew at Manchester Arena on November 10, and Hearn says he is now eyeing a heavyweight showdown with WBA (Super), IBF and WBO champion Joshua in Riyadh.

Anthony Joshua who broke the record for the highest amount paid for a British fight in 2019 is looking to avenge his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk and has his sights set on a rematch in Saudi Arabia.

Usyk shocked the world when he defeated Joshua in their heavyweight showdown in September last year, and the Brit is determined to get his revenge.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn says that they are close to finalizing a deal for the rematch, which would take place in late June.

The African Giant Anthony Joshua has had a number of big-name wins since his professional debut in 2013. including Dillian Whyte, Joseph Parker, Ruiz in a rematch and Klitschko. One of his talked about was his victory over Klitschko, who he knocked out in the eleventh round. This win solidified his place as one of the best heavyweight boxers in the world.

The second win came against Joseph Parker, whom Joshua defeated by a 12-round unanimous decision to claim the WBO title as well as retain his WBA (Super), IBF, and IBO belts.

Despite his impressive record, Joshua has lost twice in his career. The first loss came at the hands of Andy Ruiz, who defeated Joshua in June 2019 but reclaimed his title back following a rematch.

Many people are questioning whether Anthony Joshua is better than the undefeated Tyson Fury. Tyson has had a solid track record with no losses. Some say that Fury’s undefeated record and boxing style make him a more difficult opponent for Joshua to beat. However, others argue that losing one or two also brings to book the typical track record of some of the all-time greats in the game.
