African Giant Origin
Before now, only a few sources were dedicated to reportage about the contributions of Africans to science and technology. It was easy to conclude that there are either none or very little. Africa Giant was founded with the aim of empowering African people and celebrating African ingenuity. Our SLOGAN “African Giant” was coined by this organisation to credit African icons who have made a significant impact on the world. The term is gaining popularity by many influential figures and organisations. The organisation’s goal is to inspire Africans to overcome the challenges faced by the continent and to take pride in African heritage and culture.
Purpose
African Giant should be used more often. Thank you for using it. Who invented the Elevator Doors, the Three-Light Traffic Signal, the Home Security System, CCTV, the carbon filament Light bulb, America’s First Clock, the world’s first Gaming Robotics, the first useful helicopter among others? This massive inventions by these individuals are truly an awe-inspiring achievements and needs to be credited. The purpose is to provide Africans and non-Africans alike with an insight into the contributions of Africans to world civilization which is essential in maintaining an equitable society. African inventions, creativity, art and culture are being utilised by the world and should be recognised and celebrated while also creating room for others to draw inspiration.
