Shane and Nigel Mushambi, known as the founders and co-CEOs of Two Bros. With a passion for baking and entrepreneurship, they started their bakery business when they were just 12 and 13 years old. Their love for baking led them to create delicious treats that quickly became popular in their community. As their business grew, they realized the importance of giving back to their community and decided to use their entrepreneurial skills to create something meaningful. That’s how Gemstone Geniuses, a teen-led initiative, was born.

Their passion for baking started at the ages of 3 and 4 when they began creating baked goods that put a smile on everyone’s face who tried them. Since then, they have won the “Cook-Off for Camp” competition hosted by the Greater Houston Church three times and have become professional pastry-makers.

Their bakery business, Two Bros. in the Kitchen, offers a wide range of treats such as cakes, cake jars, cupcakes, cupcakes push-ups, chocolate-dipped pretzels, and icings. The treats come in various flavors, including vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, German chocolate, mocha, coffee, salted caramel, coconut, red velvet, raspberry, almond, and carrot. In addition to running a successful bakery, the brothers have also been featured in many reputable organizations, including ABC7 and CBS News.

Aside from their baking success, the brothers have dedicated a portion of their proceeds to charity. Two Bros. in the Kitchen donates up to 20% of its profits to charitable organizations, such as Fort Bend Cares and the JB Dondolo Foundation, which is raising funds to rebuild a hospital in Zimbabwe. They have donated hundreds of meals to the homeless and have also established a Pay-It-Forward Program, which allows customers to buy an additional Cake In A Jar that the brothers randomly distribute, bless a charitable organization with a portion of the proceeds, and post the picture of the recipient on their site.

Aside from their bakery and philanthropic work, they also authored their first book, titled “Beyond the Kitchen: How to Cook Up Success with Life’s Mistakes.” Nigel and Shane share their failures and how they learned from them, inspiring young people to go for their dreams, despite making mistakes. They have also been managing their education while growing their business.

Both brothers have recently founded Gemstone Geniuses, a teen-led initiative that provides enriching learning experiences for children. This project is evidence of the brothers’ unwavering commitment to giving back to their community and empowering younger generations. Through Gemstone Geniuses, Shane and Nigel have created a platform that allows them to use their natural leadership abilities, creativity, and passion for teaching to have a positive impact on the lives of children.
