    Nigerian filmmaker Ifan Ifeanyi Michael’s The Boy Who Never Falls, is a much-awaited short film accompanied by a documentary, which is likely to shed light on the project’s creative process. The film is an autobiographical tale that focuses on Michael’s early life experiences of transitioning from the East to Lagos, Nigeria.

    The film’s central figure is nine-year-old Ifeanyi, who shares Michael’s love for the movies. The award-winning Mo Azmi has directed the cinematography, while Blue is responsible for capturing the behind-the-scenes of the project.

    Michael’s filmmaking journey began with his debut film, Lotanna, following which he has worked on acclaimed titles like Foreigner’s God (2022), and Singing Sin (2022). The filmmaker’s work sheds light on the lives of African women set against a vibrant backdrop of glamor, power, and deceit.

As a former publicist and a creative artist, Michael has become one of the leading young filmmakers in Nollywood.
