    When most people think of Africa, they think of a vast and wild continent filled with exotic animals, untamed jungles, and primitive tribes. While some areas of Africa truly has exotic animals such as lions‚ rhinos‚ elephants, cheetahs‚ giraffes‚ antelope, hippos, leopards, and untamed jungles, Africa is also home to some of the most innovative and creative cultures on the planet. Africans built the world we live in today, home and abroad.

    With so many people going about their daily business and hardly noticing these individuals making a significant impact in society; Africa Giant is dedicated to celebrating, honoring, and sustaining African excellence and achievements and bring into the limelight.

    Africa Giant tells the untold stories of Africa’s most influential figures, from creating groundbreaking innovations to making impressive contributions to the arts and sciences. So that the youths have people to look up to.

    Africans have contributed to society in countless ways – and not just through their art and music but have been responsible for some of the most important inventions and discoveries of all time.

    Report has it that Africans were the ones who first discovered how to use tools, and developed agriculture and mathematics, metallurgy, architecture, astronomy and other fields. They even invented the wheel! But questions have been raised why their contributions have been largely ignored.

    From the Elevator Doors to the Three-Light Traffic Signal to Home Security System, CCTV to the carbon filament Light bulb to America’s First Clock among others were invented by Africans and Blacks.

    For example, consider Johannes Gutenberg, who invented the printing press. Or George Washington Carver, who developed hundreds of uses for peanuts and soybeans. Or Wangari Maathai, who founded the Green Belt Movement and won the Nobel Peace Prize.
